Corporate Recruiter

The recruiter is responsible for interviewing, testing and referring applicants for positions throughout the company.  This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques and knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

Job Description

  • Coordinate with hiring manager(s) to determine best recruiting process for open position(s)
  • Screen and interview applicant
  • Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system
  • Coordinate pre-employment testing
  • Conduct employee verifications
  • Extend job offer
  • Coordinate background checks and new-hire drug testing
  • Assists with new hire orientation
  • Manages internal transfer process, including screening and coordination of interviews with hiring managers
  • Other HR duties as assigned

Candidate Profile

  • Two years of recruiting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • HRIS experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid business acumen
