Benefits Services Coordinator/Technologist

AmCheck, a recognized leader in online employer technologies, is seeking a technology savvy, enthusiastic individual to join our Benefits Team.  The Benefits Services Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of benefit plans in the HRIS platform acting as a liaison between clients, employees, carriers and brokers.  This position offers the opportunity to use multiple skill sets in the areas of benefits, customer service and technology.

Job Description

  • Maintains a high rate of client retention by providing world class customer service
  • Uses the information gathered from the client to build the benefit plan design in the HRIS
  • Responsible for open enrollment set-ups and trouble shooting
  • Audits enrollment data at the close of open enrollment periods
  • Creates carrier feeds in the HRIS
  • Finds solutions for software issues
  • Analyze benefits discrepancies and conduct detailed data searches
  • Ensure benefit and payroll deadlines are met

Candidate Profile

  • Experience with HRIS/HCM tools
  • Excellent computer skills including intermediate to advanced Excel skills, internet navigation, and database usage
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage short and long-term projects to fruition
  • Ability to apply common sense and critical thinking to carry out instructions and make decisions within the scope of authority
